About Me
Graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City. I have worked for various national and international clients and I am eager to get involved in more illustrations projects.
I am best known for creating SANG SAYUR (sŭng sŭ-yoor), a comic about the colorful daily lives of fruit and vegetable characters. It was nominated in the 2007 International Manga Award, established by then-Japanese Foreign Minister, Taro Aso. My work was the only Indonesian entry that penetrated the competition's long list of nominees.
SANG SAYUR now appears in a monthly comic/manga magazine, Cherry (published by m&c!).
In all of my work, I go under my pen name, S Y S.
